In this post, I’d like to talk about cars and everything concern them pretty much. First of all, I’m just impressed by local traffic. Yeah, I know, I said the same about Colorado, but trust me, there was nothing in comparison with Las Vegas…Everybody is just crazy)))if u decided to stay in the same lane all the way and ur goal is get home(or hotel, what ever:) ) – forget)))U’ll never reach it) Its just shock for Iowa residents(Cause in Iowa everybody drives so carefully and everyone is so patient) and just happiness for me!!!Why? haa, ’cause it is even worth than in Baku. Cut, push, honk, wrong way, and speed limit, actually – there’s NO speed limit at all))))))))) I’ve been driving 70 mph on the road where only 35 was signed and police saw me, but did nothing)Maybe there’re so many crimes, so they just don’t have time for speed tickets))))Definitely, that was my best week on the road of my life))))
Second, what deserves attention is cars. Of course I’m talking about supercars – Ferrari, Lambo, Porsche, Aston Martin, Bentley, etc… Also
tuned cars were also impressive. It seemed to me, I was the single person who was driving Mercedes with no tuning))I haven’t seen there any serial Merc.)
Finally, I’ve been in the most expensive place of my life I guess)Yeah,
museum of super cars. Well it’s not really museum, there’re no old
cars and also U can buy those cars))))However, still it’s more like museum maybe because U have to pay to enter))))

When we stopped in Colorado I’ve slept in hotel 15 hours)so I was full of energy which I had to spend on somewhere. I spent it on road. I have driven for a ten hours) That’s my own record) I’ve never driven so long distance before) That was really fun and some roads seemed like roads of my dreams)Difenitely, I will visit some day Switzerland or any other europen dream road)So, we’ve arrived to LV around 7 pm. The same evening, I was shocked by several facts. First, was Pool tables, which our hotel doesn’t have(( (I am so addicted by this game last 7-8 months). Second just shock at all – the hotel DOESN’T have the INTERNET…Well they offer to buy super speed internet. I would understand that if prices on it were symbolically, but when I saw the price list… – 1 day – $10, 30 minutes – $5 Even in Azerbaijan internet is cheaper now days. It’s not about money…hmm. YES, IT’S about money, in almost 200″9″, pay $10 for Internet…what ever… However, our hotel has advantages too.hmm. Let me think…Nooo, sorry, internet kills all the other advantages))) We just have no luck with hotels. Last time, when we were in co—–, We didn’t have internet in our room either, plus there were an old roses and we couldn’t plug all our facility. It’s funny now, but wasn’t at that time)))) Nevertheless, maybe one and the main advantage, is happened by accident. Accidently I got my own room)I mean real my own. My step-dad and mom are staying in one room, I am staying in the other) I’ve got 2-bedrooms, jacuzzi, kitchen with beer-opener and the fridge with beer itself))))))))))))))All what u need in Vegas is: Mercedes, freedom, own room with big bed, and a little bit money and a liiiitle bit handsomeness))))and happiness will be yours))))))))))))U know what I mean by happiness)))))

So, we left home at 10 pm and our night trip begun)I don’t want to give you many details, especially, details for this night road. Because it was just awful. I did stupid mistake – didn’t sleep during the day. And here was my problem) our first destination was about 10 hours to Colorado.So I was planning to drive per 5 hours me and my step-father. Ha, didn’t work)
We were switching every 2 hours. No traffic on the roads, borring and plus night road needs double causion and attention because of stupid animals which are having fun by running from the one side of road to the other(during 10 hours, I myself saw about 10 killed deer )so around 7 AM we arrived to the city, finally. When I took my first exit to the town streets, I was so surprised by traffic. I mean it’s ok when there are lots of car, I was expecting that, but when ALL the car are speeding 50M\h when only 30M\h allowed, and when nobody respects one another on the road – that’s sweet) Any way, I liked it, some nostalgia of Baku is always good)))

So we stayed in the hotel one night because of the weather. It was getting worth.In the next morning the weather was just emazing and our next destination was – Utah. That’s the first state which I hated))Idk why, maybe because of lots of signs like – VIEW AREA, and in the diraction to sign, there’s no view at all) or maybe because of the gas stations, oh, I mean NO gas stations))))We almost were out of gas) GPS showed one gas station in 20 miles OFFROAD ahead. We didn’t have choice. Our gas was enough to reach 20 miles, but no more. So if there weren’t be the gas station we would stuck there with no gas forever). Nevertheless, we took our exit, which showed GPS, to the strange town named – Moore. First, we thought it’s better to stuck on the high way with no gas, than somewhere which even doesn’t exist on the map))))because the GPS was showing different way of road)))))we were nervous joking, like – Moore is a city of Indians)))) Then we saw electricity cables and thought, that’s it, we are saved)))))))electricity is coming to this town and couple more years and we will have light over there)))))) Finally, after 50 minutes driving we saw something like a town)but…it wasn’t Moore))))it was something different)However, at that time we didn’t care what it is – moore, or shmoore, the main point was – gas)and we found it)
So, I’ve been in another place which nobody knows and doesn’t exist on the map, either) Moore! try to find that)))Who didn’t get it, first place was – Azerbaijan, I stuck there for a 18 years)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))Some Americans really don’t belive in existing country – Azerbaijan))They think I’m kidding them)))))))))))so maybe for real i came from nowhere))))))))))))))

What ever, next destination was LAS VEGAS, NEVADA!

So our trip actually begins today. Because of the weather. We were supposed to leave tommorow evening. However weather was promised just awful and it will be just impossible to get the hell out of our state! So we have one extra day. Yesterday, we borrowed a chain for the tyres, which I couldn’t find in the stores earlier.Des Moines just doesn’t have it. Everybody was so surprised after I asked whether the have it or not) Fortunately, one of our friend has it and we just borrowed it for a trip. By the way, we decided to visit on the way our old friend from Baku, and kill one day over there, otherwise we would arrive to LV at about 3 am, but our ckeck in is at 3 PM.
So let’s see)

Last night I went to take some milk from the kitchen and thought that I’m like in movie)No, serious, If u take a look on me from the side, I live exactly in movie, which I was dreaming to live in when I was in Baku.
I think I’m the only person in the whole United States who appreciates living here so much. Every day, I’m just happy by taking beer from fridger(In Azerbaijan nobody buys six packs, only one by one), by driving car in the clean and big streets, by been saying “Excuse me” after POSSIBLE collision with people on the street or in the store, or just by people’s smile. Americans will never understand this, because they don’t know another way to live, but I do. However many people who came from my country or the other Former Soviet Union country, they don’t think about it either.
I don’t know what I wanted to say by all those words above.

When I was 4, my brother had a good collection of model cars. He loved them so much, However, one day when my brother wasn’t home, I took cars and just dropped all of them to the floor. Almost all of them were broken( I didn’t understand what I was doing of course, I was told about that story later, when I was already a little bit older. I love cars from childhood and I just hated myself because of that accident(
Years later, I started my own model car collection. My first model car was Mercedes, SL600, it was 1/32 scale, but in the local store the rest cars were 1/36 or 1/34. So I had to buy all the cars with random scales. They are with no box, and they are cheap but they are much important to me than I’d say car for thousand bucks.
Now, I got 73 cars. Again, they are all diferent sizes and more than half of them with no boxes, which means I won’t be rich if I sold them) Nevertheless, sometimes money ia not important at all…
So I decided to share my little collection of “model” cars.

Finally, today was the last day in college. I’m work-study student (some extra money is always good)), so today I have done all my job and now I’m completely free)) Next is Las Vegas) I and my family, are going for X-mas to LV. That’s should be awesome. Adventures will begin from the beginning, ’cause we are going by a car) That’s about 1200 miles, and about 24 hours on the road)) That’s just redicules. I love to drive. I can drive all day and night))) Fortunately to me, my step-father wasn’t able to find any tickets to a plane on sale, so we decided to go by a car. Especially now, it is the best time to go somewhere by a car, the gas is only $1.34 per gallon, can u imagine?))) And it’s getting down everyday))) When I just came to the US, the gas was $4 per gallon)))
So, I was talking about LV. It sounds interesting, especially if u remember hat the the world biggest strip club is located exactly in Las Vegas))))))))))

Who didn’t get it, I live in Des Moines, Iowa))))

So, people who read my privious post for sure will have a logically questions, like what happened with my job, or why am I doing nothing.
So actually it’s a long story but I’ll try to be as brief as possible) As soon as I came to US I’ve found a part-time job to practise my english and make some pin money. My first job in US was store Hy-Wee, Chinese department. Fast food. Well, I wasn’t happy about that news at the beginning, Being all day in the kitchen, sell food, always been yelled if something is wrong, u know… However, I liked that place, not the place it self, but this job. I immideatly broke ice with people who have been working there for a long time and then my life at work became better) I felt my self like in Azerbaijan))) I was doing nothing but still I was getting money)))) So I’ve worked there about 5-6 months and then I was borred. I wanted to try something new, so I did! I’ve talked to my boss(With whom i was in excelent relationship, I have been in his house several times etc…) that i don’t want to quit, but I do want to stop working for a while) He agreed and let me go, eventhough he had new headache finding new employee. Any way, my second job had to be my dream job, so it was) I was keep saying Bart Simpsons’ words during a work day – “Finally, I’ve been payed for doing this”)) In Bart’s case there was destroying buildings, in my case there was driving a cars)) In Az-an, there’re no job like “Valet” I guese people just wouldn’t trust theirs cars)))))So I saw this kind of job in movies and always was dreaming about that)US made my another dream come true)))
And another logically questian would be, like, so, if it was your dream job, why U don’t have any job now))) No, no, I didn’t heat the car and was fired)))I stopped working there for a while too. In this job reason was – Weather. Here winter is so cold. Last winter I remember once was like -20F, i beilive so. So I just was not be able to work there during the winter, it’s just impossible to me. I worked couple cold days, and I just was freezed to death and that even wasn’t a winter yet.

Oh my goodness, again too long post)))It’s my problem, I thought at least in English it won’t be so long…nah, I was wrong…
any way, who read everything that person gets candy, who didn’t, hmm, u should read it and get candy)))))))))

Couple hours ago I was just rolling over in the bed doing nothing(I feel kind of sick today, idk why), then I remembered my blog and tried to make at least one cause why I do not blog any more)I don’t have a job, my school semester is over, and I have almost nothing to do)So I decided – its time to blog))Especially after I read lots of comments on my old posts I’m so enthusiastic about continuing bloggin’)
I hope my guests who are from Russia will be able to understand my broken English)I have to practise it, and my blog is one more way to do it!!!
